| Description |
A charity paid $22,000 to install these tiles on the basketball court in Crombie Park near the corner of Berkeley and the Esplanade. The device here is a large compass. At the business end there were two rollers, that dispensed masking tape. It is designed to lay out parallel strips of masking tape to enable painting curved arcs of circles. The tiles were extensively damaged in July 2013 when a special anti-drug police team, chasing a drug suspect, drove onto the court, and couldn't get out. |
