Summary[edit]

Description
English: A very poor photo taken at Manchester and blown up from a small image on the original slide. This is actually designated a Canadair C-54GM as the early aircraft utilised surplus C-54/DC-4 airframes bought from Douglas (hence being unpressurised). These were all delivered to the RCAF, Trans Canada Airlines & Canadian Pacific. The aircraft bought by BOAC and designated 'Argonaut' were built to Douglas Blueprints by Canadair.
