English: Red dwarf about 6 ly away in the constellation of Ophiuchus - Despite its proximity, it is invisible to the unaided eye (brighter in the infrared than in visible light) - Highest proper motion for any star (10.3 arcseconds) - Although it is an ancient star, it still experiences star flare events (one observed in 1998) - Has an exoplanet of about 4 Earth masses orbiting at 0.4 AU -
