Summary[edit]

Description
English: Moonset in the west over Tucson, Arizona. The dark blue color of the sky near the horizon is actually earth's shadow being cast by the rising sun behind the photographer. The pinkish-orange belt above the shadow, where the moon is located, is known as The Belt of Venus, which is catching brighter rays from the rising sun.
