Buchenwald 16 avril 1945
Liberation of the Nazi camp of Buchenwald.
Photo taken by Jules Rouard - Belgium (my father-in-law) War volunteer incorporated to the 1st American Army 16e Bataillon de Fusiliers
Reconstruction with a dummy hung by German political prisoners. It says: “Hitler must die so that Germany lives”.
