Description
English: This photo shows the 2nd Btn. Devonshire Regiment prior to the D-Day landings in June 1944. My uncle Hugh V. Duke is in the front row, second in from far right. The photo was possibly taken in the UK, perhaps in the grounds of Beaulieu Abbey, Hants., where the Regiment were stationed.
