English: In this photograph, crew and passengers of a ship crowd around marks made on the deck. One of the men is wearing what appears to be a convict costume. This photograph is part of the McKilliam family collection which includes material from several McKilliam family members. The majority of the collection relates to Captain Robert Basil Vincent McKilliam's working life as an apprentice, a mate, and then captain - much of which was with the Aberdeen White Star line. |
