Description
English: Input/output characteristics of on-off controllers. Each plot shows the input on the horizontal axis and the corresponding output on the vertical axis. Ideal on-off control is shown in (a), with modifications for a dead zone (b) or hiysteresis (c). Note that for the on-off with hysteresis, the output depends on the value of past inputs.
